ABOUT US
Ohana Pet Care is owned and operated by Caroline and Tyler Hise, pictured below. They have two beloved dogs Dixie and Willow. They also have three cats one named Makani, Pierre and Bootsie, as well as two horses named Rhea and Daisy.
Caroline has always had a passion for animals! She grew up in Northern Virginia caring for many neighborhood pets from a young age. She adopted Dixie when she was a young teenager and purchased her first horse at age 16 after years of lessons and training. Tyler was born and raised in Ewa Beach, Hawaii, and grew up with numerous cats, dogs, and farm animals. He moved to Virginia at the age of 11. Caroline and Tyler met in high school and Tyler was roped into petsitting with Caroline right from the start! They grew their clientele as well as their operational radius together. As they grew up, they knew they wanted to start a business together to support themselves and one day, their family.
This vision became realized when they opened Ohana Pet Care! Ohana, the Hawaiian word for “family,” perfectly describes their business, as Caroline and Tyler pride themselves on treating every pet as a member of their own family.
